The Auto-Installer is the feature inside GO Fast that places setup files directly into your sim's setup folder with a single click. You do not need to know where your game files are stored or which folder to use.
How it works
When you browse setups in GO Fast Setups tab, each setup has an Install button. When you click it, GO Fast copies the file to the correct location in your sim's directory automatically. The setup will appear in the setups area the next time you load into your sim.
What the Auto-Installer handles
The Auto-Installer manages the file path, folder structure, and file naming for each sim. It also handles setup updates: if a newer version of a setup you have installed is released, GO Fast will show an update indicator so you can reinstall with one click.
Customising what gets installed
You can control exactly what the Auto-Installer downloads through the Settings page. The available filters include:
- Level and Type: Filter setups by skill level or setup type.
- Setup Version: Choose whether to install all versions or only the latest.
- Auto Pressure (ACC Only): Toggle whether auto pressure adjustments are active or inactive.
- Car selection: Pick exactly which cars you want setups for. You can search, select all, or clear all to quickly manage your list.
These settings are available per game, so you can configure different preferences for ACC, LMU, and iRacing. For more details, see Filtering What the Auto-Installer Downloads.
Who can use it
The Auto-Installer is available to all active subscribers as part of the setups experience. See Free vs Paid for a full comparison of what is included in each plan.
Requirements
Your game install paths must be configured in GO Fast Settings before the Auto-Installer can place files correctly. If you have not done this yet, see Setting Up Game Install Paths.
