GO Fast is available for Windows and can be downloaded directly from go-fast.gg. This article walks you through installing GO Fast and Logging In for the first time.
Step 1: Download and install GO Fast
Head to the GO Fast download page and save GOFastSetup.exe to your Downloads folder. Double-click it to start the installation, and if Windows asks "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?", click Yes.
When you launch the installer, Windows may show a blue popup titled "Windows protected your PC", mentioning an unrecognized app or publisher. This is normal for new applications and the installer is safe to run. GOFastSetup.exe is digitally signed with a code signing certificate issued through Microsoft Azure Trusted Signing, so the file is verified and the publisher is confirmed. Windows SmartScreen also looks at how many people worldwide have downloaded a given installer, and since this is a fresh release it hasn't built up that download history yet. The warning will go away automatically as more users install GO Fast.
To continue past the warning:
- Click the small "More info" link just under the warning text.
- The popup will expand to show the file and publisher details.
- Click the "Run anyway" button that appears at the bottom.
The installer will then continue. Follow the on-screen prompts to finish.
Step 2: Launch GO Fast and log in
Once installed, open GO Fast from your Start menu. Log in using the same email and password you use on gosetups.gg. Your subscription and setup library will sync automatically. See Logging In if you need help with this step.
Step 3: Set your game paths
On your first launch, GO Fast will ask you to set the install paths for the sims you race on. This tells GO Fast where to place setup files on your computer. See Setting Up Game Install Paths for step by step instructions for each sim.
Already have an account but not a subscriber?
You can still log in and use the free features of GO Fast including the Fuel Calculator, Tyre Pressure Tool, and limited setup browsing. A subscription unlocks the Auto-Installer, Race Engineer, and full setup library access. See Free vs Paid for a full comparison.
