If you need to reinstall GO Fast, you can do so without losing any data. Your local database is stored in the Documents folder and is not affected by reinstalling.
How to reinstall
- Uninstall GO Fast from your system.
- Download the latest version from the Microsoft Store.
- Run the installer and follow the on screen steps.
- Log in with your GO account credentials.
After reinstalling
You will need to set your game install paths again in the app settings so the Auto-Installer knows where to place setup files. See Setting Up Game Install Paths for details. Your local data, including downloaded setups and preferences, will still be available after reinstalling.
When to reinstall
Reinstalling can help resolve persistent issues like the app not launching, crashing on startup, or features not loading correctly. Always try restarting the app and updating to the latest version first before reinstalling.
If you need a full reset of app settings and data, you can also remove GO Fast folder in your Documents folder before reinstalling. Please note that this will remove all past sessions from the app.
