All GO Setups for Automobilista 2 are developed and validated in the following conditions: 22°C air temperature, clear sky, and heavy rubber on the track surface. These conditions represent a well-rubbered, representative race circuit state.
Why the rubber level matters
AMS2 models track evolution, meaning grip levels increase as rubber builds up on the racing line during a session. Heavy rubber represents a realistically high-grip track state, similar to what you would experience later in a race weekend. A fresh or lightly rubbered track will offer less grip, and the setup may feel slightly different as a result.
Why conditions matter
Air temperature and sky conditions affect tyre thermal behaviour. At 22°C air and clear sky, tyres will behave consistently with the setup targets. Significant deviations in temperature or conditions can shift tyre temperatures and pressures, altering how the car handles.
