Each sim handles telemetry output differently. This article covers the specific requirements for getting Race Engineer working with each supported game.
ACC
Assetto Corsa Competizione uses the broadcasting feature for telemetry. GO Fast manages this automatically, but for the initial setup you need to have the correct game install path configured and have ACC closed during the first app launch. After that, telemetry will connect automatically whenever you run ACC.
iRacing
iRacing uses shared memory for telemetry output, which is enabled by default. Race Engineer connects automatically when iRacing is running. You need to press ALT+L in game to start telemetry output, or you can automate this so it happens every session. See Setting Up Telemetry for details on how to set that up.
LMU
Le Mans Ultimate uses the rFactor 2 shared memory plugin for telemetry output. GO Fast installs this plugin automatically. If telemetry is not connecting, see Race Engineer Is Not Detecting My LMU Sessions for troubleshooting steps.
