In ACC, GT3 tyre pressures are measured in PSI and are assessed at operating temperature, not as a cold setting. The target operating pressure window for GT3 cars is 26.4 to 27.0 PSI across all four tyres.
Cold vs operating pressure
The pressures you set in the garage are cold pressures. During a lap, tyres heat up and pressure rises. GO setups are calibrated so that when the tyres reach their working temperature, pressures sit within the 26.4 to 27.0 PSI window. The cold setting in the setup file will be lower than this target to account for the rise during use.
What to do if pressures are outside range
If your pressures are consistently running above 27.0 PSI, reduce cold pressure by 0.2 to 0.5 PSI as a starting point. If they are running below 26.4 PSI, increase cold pressure accordingly. Small pressure changes affect tyre contact patch and can noticeably change handling balance.
Checking pressures in session
Use the MoTeC telemetry display or the in-game HUD to monitor tyre pressures in real time. Aim to check after a full flying lap when the tyres are fully bedded in.
