If you have downloaded a setup from GO Setups or installed one via GO Fast and it is not showing up in your ACC garage, work through the steps below.
Check the setup file is in the right folder
Setup files must be placed in the correct folder for your sim to detect them. If you installed manually, confirm the file is in the right directory. If you used GO Fast, check that your game install path is set correctly in Settings.
Check the Documents folder, not the game install folder
ACC setups are stored in Documents\Assetto Corsa Competizione\setups, not inside the Steam installation directory. Make sure the file is placed in the Documents path. If the car or track folder does not exist yet, you can download the complete set of empty setup folders from OverTake.gg and extract them into your Documents\Assetto Corsa Competizione\Setups directory.
Refresh the setups screen
ACC reads the setup folder when you open the setups screen. If ACC was already running when the file was installed, simply go out of the setups screen and go back in. There is no need to restart the game.
Check the car matches
Setups are car-specific. In ACC, a setup file placed in the wrong car folder will still appear in the list, but when loaded it will revert to the default safe setup since the JSON was built for a different car. Make sure the setup file is in the correct car folder and matches the exact car model you are using.
Check the setup is not corrupted
If the file downloaded but the content is empty or broken, the setup will not load. Try re-downloading the setup from GO Setups or reinstalling via GO Fast.
