MoTeC i2 Pro is professional telemetry analysis software used in both real-world motorsport and sim racing. It allows you to record, visualise, and analyse detailed data from your laps, giving you a precise picture of what the car is doing and where time is being gained or lost.
What MoTeC records
MoTeC captures channels including throttle input, brake pressure, steering angle, speed, gear, suspension travel, tyre temperatures, tyre pressures, and laptime delta. Each channel is plotted against distance or time so you can compare any two laps directly and see the exact point on track where differences occur.
How GO Setups uses MoTeC
All GO Setups setups are developed and validated using MoTeC telemetry data. Our engineers use it to verify tyre behaviour, mechanical balance, and aero performance across multiple laps and conditions before a setup is released. This means every setup you download has been through a structured, data-driven process rather than a simple lap time comparison.
Which sims support MoTeC
MoTeC i2 Pro is compatible with iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Le Mans Ultimate, Automobilista 2, and Assetto Corsa. Each sim outputs telemetry in a compatible format. LMU requires a shared memory plugin to export data. GO Fast installs this automatically on first use.
Do I need MoTeC to use GO Setups?
No. MoTeC is part of our internal setup development process. You do not need to install or use MoTeC i2 Pro to benefit from our setups. Simply download, install, and drive.
MoTeC and GO Fast Race Engineer
GO Fast Race Engineer captures and displays your own telemetry data in-app, covering lap comparison, tyre data, stint tracking, and Leaderboards without a separate MoTeC installation. For deeper offline analysis, MoTeC i2 Pro can be used alongside GO Fast by exporting your session data.
